Turnbull Government getting on with business

The Turnbull Government is getting on with the business of good government with eight bills introduced into the House of Representatives this week and another nine bills passed.

Minister for Defence Industry and Leader of the House of Representatives, the Hon Christopher Pyne MP says the government is getting on with delivering its election promises and tackling the job of budget repair.

While the Labor Party is playing petty political games, the Turnbull government is fixing the budget, introducing important legislation into the House and getting on with the job of delivering a stable government”, Mr Pyne said.

Most critically this week the Turnbull government has managed to secure the passage of the Omnibus Bill, delivering $6 billion to the budget bottom line, a crucial step towards repairing the budget.”
