Appointment of new administrators for Arrium

The Government calls for all parties to strongly support the newly appointed administrator KordaMentha and to work together closely on what will deliver the best outcome for the workers of Arrium – the continuation of a viable business.

The appointment of a new administrator is a decision for Arrium and its creditors. KordaMentha has a strong history of helping businesses navigate back to profitability and the Government is confident it will do all it can in the case of Arrium.

The Federal Government stands ready to assist where possible and continues to monitor the situation closely.
